Race for the Cure

Your participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® could help save the lives of thousands of women across the state. Each year, the MICPA sponsors the Race for the Cure® in an effort to help find a cure for breast cancer. The money raised from the Detroit Race for the Cure® goes to support local breast health education, breast cancer screenings and breast cancer treatment projects, as well as the Komen Foundation Award and Research Grant Program.

Your colleagues at the MICPA, in conjunction with the Communications Task Force, participate in the Accounting Aid Society’s Tax Assistance Program each winter, bringing the help of accounting professionals to low-income citizens. This program is open to CPAs as well as student members of the Association. You do not need to prepare taxes full time to participate.
