Firms can now Update Peer Review Enrollment Online

by MICPA | Mar 02, 2016   ()

The AICPA and all state societies are committed to enhancing audit quality. As you are aware, our profession has faced some ongoing challenges in this area. One of those challenges has been engagement population completeness in peer reviews. To address this issue, part of the AICPA's Enhancing Audit Quality 6-Point Plan is to validate firm and engagement completeness through peer review. To achieve that, they are collecting each firm's federal Employer Identification Number (EIN).

If you are a sole practitioner and do not have an EIN, please visit to obtain one.
