MAF Scholarships, Elijah Watt Sells Award Winners, ACA Update and more

Michigan Accountancy Foundation Awards 21 Scholarships
Thanks to the profession’s generous support of the Michigan Accountancy Foundation, Fifth/Graduate Year Scholarships were awarded recently to 21 top-notch candidates from 11 different Michigan schools. Each scholarship is $3,000 and will help the student complete the education requirements to become a Michigan CPA. Since the program began, $1,141,000 has been given in scholarships to 336 students. Congratulations to this year’s recipients:

2015 Elijah Watt Sells Award Winners
The 2015 Elijah Watt Sells Award Winners were announced last week. A total of 75 candidates, out of nearly 94,000, qualified for the prestigious award. We’re proud that Michigan has five winners. READ MORE
