by Peer Review | Dec 14, 2016   ()

During 2016, the PRB approved significant changes to the Peer Review Standards, Interpretations and other related guidance that will become effective for reviews commencing on or after January 1, 2017.

The October 2016 Reviewer’s Alert outlines many of these changes such as new or revised forms, exit conference process and quality control educational options for firms.

Additionally, the Alert discusses new federal regulatory requirements including the introduction of a required periodic study of single audit quality.  The first study may scope in audits performed with year-ends as early as April 2017.  It is critical for you to understand these changes.
