by Kristin Austin | Mar 30, 2017   ()

Area residents can learn how to create a "financial scrapbook" in a free class set for April 25 at the Caledonia branch of the Kent District Library.

The class offers information on creating a scrapbook as one location for important financial records such as insurance policies, retirement accounts and investments. The scrapbook is beneficial for financial planning, emergencies and end-of-life arrangements, according to the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Association member Vanessa Birman, a certified public accountant and accounting services manager, will lead the class.

The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 6260 92nd St. SE.
