NABA Offers Scholarships; Deadline is April 30
The Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants is currently accepting scholarship applications. With awards up to $1,500, applicants must be an ethnic minority, enrolled full time, and be a NABA student member. (Note:  the original deadline of April 15 has been extended to April 30.)

CPA Exam Tip – This May Help You Decide When to Sit for the Exam
The AICPA recently published adjusted score release dates for the third and fourth quarter test windows. Additionally, the AICPA confirmed that content related to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will be eligible for testing beginning Jan. 1, 2019. The Exam will continue to test candidates on the tax laws and regulations in effect before the new tax law’s enactment through the 2018 fourth quarter test window ending on Dec. 10, 2018.
