MICPA Award Nomination Form

The Advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award acknowledges an individual MICPA member who is committed to developing inclusivity and advancing equity in the accounting profession. Nominees are dedicated to promoting the strength of diversity, creating equitable practices and fostering inclusive environments within the profession, their organization, and/or their community. As an aspiring ally for historically underrecognized groups, nominees demonstrate a commitment to learning and use this knowledge to bring awareness to others. Nominees must be an MICPA member. Those with a CPA license are desired, but not required. Self-nominations are welcomed and should include a letter of recommendation to be considered.

The nomination deadline is Friday, June 9, 2023.

Selection Criteria Considered:

• Promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts 
• Inclusive leadership approach 
• Continual commitment to being an aspiring ally and educating those within and outside their organization
