This week, the MICPA Board of Directors welcomes the start of a new annual session and is pleased to welcome new board chair, Frank Maselli, Assurance Partner at EY. A long-standing member of the MICPA, Frank boasts over 30 years of experience with professional services firms and more than 10 years as a consultant for entrepreneurs as Program Director of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program and Growth Markets Leader for the Detroit practice.
Currently, Frank is a senior partner in the EY Central Region Real Estate Group where he exercises a strong working knowledge of technical accounting issues ranging from major acquisitions to goodwill and long-lived asset impairments. Throughout his impressive career, Frank has acted as the coordinating partner of major public accounts such as Welltower, Altair Engineering, PulteGroup, Skyline Champion Corp, AV Homes, Gentex Corporation, KB Home and Equity Residential.
As we contemplate the road ahead amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Frank’s experience with large-scale audit engagements and international operations will provide the MICPA board with invaluable insight as the profession is poised to be at the helm of recovery. The MICPA is confident that Frank’s track record as a leader, capable of coordinating complex initiatives at all levels, will lend itself to the task ahead. From all of us at the MICPA, Frank, we are excited to get started and happy to have the benefit of your expertise.
