Small Firm Award

Nomination Form

This award recognizes small firms with a staff size between 2 and 15 whose practices exemplify the trusted advisor role. This award celebrates the unique challenges and opportunities faced by small firm practitioners, whose leadership, adaptability, and innovation drive success for their clients and contribute to the advancement of the accounting profession.

The nomination deadline to submit is Thursday, June 26, 2025. 

Nominee Requirements

  • At least one individual at the firm must be an MICPA member and actively licensed CPA.
  • The firm must have a staff size between 2 and 15.
  • Self-nominations are welcomed and must include a letter of recommendation.

Award Criteria

  • Builds strong, trusted relationships by delivering highly personalized client service while upholding the values of the accounting profession.
  • Adapts and innovates to meet client and firm needs in the face of evolving challenges, setting a standard for professional excellence. 
  • Demonstrates leadership and resilience as a key contributor to the success of their small firm and the broader accounting profession.
