The Michigan Association of CPAs is seeking nominations for the 2026 Accounting Teaching Excellence Award. This award honors outstanding professors who demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting the CPA profession.
Nominees must be full-time educators at a Michigan community college, college, or university and be recognized for their innovations and contributions to accounting education. They must have taught at least one accounting course within the past 12 months; however, they do not need to be a CPA or hold a doctoral degree.
The 2026 Accounting Teaching Excellence Award will be presented at the MICPA Celebrate Awards in Fall 2026.
Previous recipients of the MICPA Accounting Teaching Excellence Award are not eligible.
