Future of Accounting Award

Recognizes CPAs or organizations dedicated to strengthening the accounting pipeline by inspiring the next generation of CPAs, expanding access within underrepresented communities, and challenging stereotypes of the profession.

The nomination deadline to submit is Monday, June 8, 2026.

Nominee Requirements:
  • Individual nominees must be an MICPA member and submit a letter of recommendation.
  • Organizations or firms must be actively supporting the accounting pipeline.
  • Self-nominations are welcome.
Awards Criteria:
  • Exhibits impactful commitment to strengthening the accounting pipeline through partnerships, advocacy, or direct involvement in educational outreach.
  • Engage students, educators, or emerging professionals, including activities that broaden access within underrepresented communities and challenge stereotypes of the profession.
  • Demonstrates meaningful results through mentorship, participation, success stories, or other evidence of positive impact on the accounting pipeline.
