Members of Michigan’s House Oversight Committee penned a letter to the Michigan Department of Treasury (Treasury) seeking an update on the timeline associated with the department’s backlog of refunds, adjustments and other ongoing taxpayer issues. The letter, originally published by Gongwer Michigan, details multiple ongoing issues, including outstanding Notice of Adjustment corrections, and requested guidance from Treasury by Sept. 18.
