Applications are now open for the Michigan Accountancy Foundation (MAF) grant and scholarship programs, including new opportunities for high school and undergraduate students. The new scholarships offer eligible high school students between $500 - $1,000 for tuition while undergraduate scholarships provide $2,000 - $2,500. Recipients for both programs will have the opportunity to work with a mentor for support in their accounting studies and college transition. The MAF fifth year scholarship remains unchanged, offering $5,000 to declared accounting majors to assist with completion of the 150-credit requirement for licensure. 

Those interested in applying for MAF scholarships will have until 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2027, to submit any required essays, transcripts or supporting documents. MAF grant proposals are likewise due at that time.
